Dytalov Pass Incident
Dytalov Pass Incident
The Dytalov Pass Incident was an event that resulted in the death of nine skiers north of the Ural mountains on the night of february 2, 1959. The incident has inspired intense speculation. Investigators stated that the fatal injuries of the three bodies could not have been caused by another human being because the force of the blows had been too strong and no soft tissue had been damaged. Their tent had been ripped open from within. Forensic radiation tests had shown high doses of radioactive contamination on the clothes of a few victims. Another group of hikers 50 kilometers to the south reported that they saw strange orange spheres in the night sky to the north on the night of the incident. Some reports suggest that there was a great deal of scrap metal in and around the area, leading to speculation that the military had utilized the area secretly and may have been engaged in a cover-up.
